friends usually call me mel or melly, it sticks. at starbucks i'm usually melony or melonie, i embrace it nowadays.
life is a beautiful thing, and i love my life. it's far from perfect, it gets messy and sometimes bandaids are needed, but I have a Savior who takes all that goop and makes it into something bigger and more wonderful than I would of ever thought possible.
my relationship with God is the most important thing in my life, then my family and friends. i'm a college kid, and majoring in journalism with my emphasis in public relations. i go to the best college in all the land, biola. a few of my favorite things: anything inquisitive to my mind, writing, blogging, reading, the beach, making little videos,doodling, my guitar, pictures, coffee and sunsets.

i've come to realize, that i will always blog, i love it too much. i've been blogging since i was about thirteen years old, i made my first blog, filled with well thirteen year old musings. then came my blog le blog de melly that I started in 2008 until this last august. in august i began blogging for biola university, and have my biola blog which is basically my blog about my life at biola so students who are looking at the school can see into my life there which i absolutely love to blog about! i've decided to start this blog to continue where i left of with le blog de melly, with a melting pot of:
